Even the most heavily used dining set will be occupied by humans for just a few hours a day. When occupied, the chairs are designed to provide both lumbar support and flexibility for the upper back and shoulders. The oval table shape is conducive to conversation and comfortable for six people. Rather than waiting quietly for the remainder of the time, this set actively occupies a space having a sculptural presence of its own. The chair design in this set was inspired by Matisse’s dancer series.
